Marcia Kort Buike is a painter and computer artist living in the Charlotte area. Her artistic background began with her career in computer graphics. Marcia has been painting and showing her work since 2002.

She has studied watercolor painting with local artists Kathy Caudill, Sandy Brindle, Anne Rhodes, John Lomax and Nancy Couick. She uses acrylics for her large canvas paintings and hand painted tiles, and has recently added pastels to her palette.  A member of both the Charlotte Art League and the Tega Cay Art League, she is actively involved in promoting the newly formed Fort Mill Art Guild.

She accepts commissions for portraits of people, homes and pets, as well as other subjects. Web design for small scale projects is also in her repertoire.
