Marcia Kort Buike is a painter and computer artist living in the Charlotte area. Her artistic background began with her career in computer graphics. Marcia has been painting and showing her work since 2002.

She has studied watercolor painting with local artists Kathy Caudill, Sandy Brindle, Anne Rhodes, John Lomax and Nancy Couick. She uses acrylics for her large canvas paintings and hand painted tiles, and has recently added pastels to her palette.  She is the President of the Fort Mill Art Guild, which has just opened The Art Mill Gallery and Classroom.

She accepts commissions for portraits of people, homes and pets, as well as other subjects. Web design for small scale projects is also in her repertoire.
